    Hello Himanshu,

    Wouldn't it be Girls=2xBoys ?
The resolution above is considering the opposite way.

In that case, the correct answer would be 65%.
    Do you agree with me?

    Lúcia

following expression modeled the total number of people who had viewed
her video tttt days after she posted it.

    After
how many days did the total number of people viewing the video double
from the original number of people? Round to the nearest day.

lets say there are x girls
So number of boys = 2x
70% of girls didn't hand their book report
    i.e. 0.7 x students
55% of boys didn't hand their book reports
    i.e. 0.55 * 2x = 1.1 x

    total students that didn't hand book reports = 0.7x + 1.1x = 1.8x

    % of students that didn't submit the book report = 1.8x / 3x * 100 = 60%

Shortest distance between lines: Coordinate Geometry
What is the shortest distance between the lines
    x + y = 6 and 4x + 4y = 32
    ?

    Solution:
Slope of both the lines is -1 hence they are parallel so minimum distance is not 0.

    Equation 1 : x + y = 6
    Standard form : x + y - 6 = 0

    Equation 2: 4x + 4y = 32 reducing this equation x + y = 8
    Standard form : x + y - 8 = 0

    comparing the equations to ax + by + c = 0

    we get value of a = 1, b = 1 for both the lines
    for the first line c1 = -6
    for the second line c2 = -8

formula for distance between the lines : |c1 - c2| / √(a^2 + b^2) (for more details about the formula PM me)
    distance = |-6 - (-8)| / √(1^2 + 1^2) = 2 / √2 = √2
