London Business School launches New Finance Masters Program

The London Business School (LBS) has recently launched a new Finance Masters program called the Masters in Financial Analysis (MFA). The 12-month program is aimed at fresh graduates with less than one year of work experience from quantitative backgrounds such as accounting, finance, maths and the likes.

LBS will begin intake for the MFA program in September 2016. The program will be an intensive one with content from finance, accounting and economics. The program is another addition to the school’s finance portfolio, in addition to the highly ranked Masters in Finance (MiF) program.

The curriculum is based on six key areas – Corporate Finance (M&A and capital structure); Asset Management (credit markets, practical asset allocation, market efficiency and anomalies, liquidity, long-short investing or slow-moving capital); Accounting (accounting and securities analysis and valuations); Financial Markets (financial institutions and personal finance); Financial Econometrics along with Global Markets and World Economy.
