Absolute value and number lines

Absolute value – The simplest concept to understand. Absolute value is nothing but its distance from 0. For negative numbers, the absolute value is the number without the negative sign. For positive numbers, it’s the number itself. For example the absolute vale of 7 and -7 is 7.
