 The School of Business and Law at CQUniversity has made the commitment to develop a recognized, relevant focused and quality Master of Business Administration (MBA) course. We have utilized key studies by the European Foundation for Management Development, the studies of Carrington Crisp in the UK and research undertaken by senior Business School Faculty surveying senior managers and businesses in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and other South East Asian Nations, about what critical skills, knowledge and attributes are required of managers and leaders in Organisations that MBA programs should address. 

Based in this critical information the CQU MBA has been specifically designed to address these requisite skills, knowledge and attributes, through a unique balance between the traditional functional skills of strategy, economics, accounting marketing etc., and those capabilities that managers need to enable engagement with employees, customers and stakeholders; emotional intelligence, communication, the ability to influence and manage change and to act with integrity.

This has resulted in increased recognition of the MBA with a top 10 MBA ranking in September 2017 by Australia’s leading business magazine the AFR-Boss.  It was also awarded Top Tier 1 status by CEO Magazine for all Australian MBAs in 2017, is currently rated as a 4 Star MBA with the General Management Association of Australia and it also holds the United Nations PRME certification.  CQUniversity is also currently pursuing international accreditation through the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the UK to further enhance its reputation and standing.
