Why WBS?
Challenging business insights with real world application
Entrepreneurial in spirit and practice, we break new ground with our global business insights and empower our students to make a difference in the business and wider world. We do this by constantly challenging ourselves to take teaching and learning beyond the classroom by bringing in leading experts as Professors of Practice and as visiting lecturers. It is this real world knowledge married with our outstanding inter-disciplinary, global research that enables us to build links with international organisations like Jaguar Land Rover, Amazon and Deloitte.
Learning in London, the financial capital of the world
Opened in June 2015 on the 17th floor of The Shard, WBS London houses a 100-seat lecture theatre and a smaller one at 80 seats, plus eight seminar rooms and an IT lab. The Shard is situated next to London Bridge so getting to us from anywhere in London couldn’t be easier. Our Warwick campus is just over an hour’s train ride from London.
Constantly innovating
We have a long standing reputation for innovation and rightly so. We are a proud part of the global research power house that is the University of Warwick. Our desire to do things differently lies in our foundations, our research, our academics and our methods of teaching. This is evidenced by our ground breaking research in areas such as Big Data and Behavioural Science and by the fact leadership is embedded in, rather than added on to the Warwick Executive MBA.
Our desire to challenge the status quo through our creative approach to teaching uses different scenarios and elements of acting to empower executives to discover new approaches and solutions to some of the biggest business issues.
Creating influential global leaders
The success of our approach is evident as our graduates are making an impact in all sectors and all areas of the world. From leading management consultancies to start-ups, from charities to FTSE 100 companies, our graduates are global leaders operating out of over 140 countries.
Business begins here, lives are transformed, leaders are created.
